A: Most traditional creams and lotions are packed with up to 70% water. While water makes a cream easy to mix, it also dilutes the product and forces manufacturers to add synthetic emulsifiers, chemical stabilizers, and heavy preservatives.
Glow Ritual is entirely waterless (anhydrous). To achieve our uniquely smooth, silky, and whipped texture without a single drop of water, we use an advanced, multi-step cold-crystallization process:
Thermal Control (The Below 45°C Rule): Natural fats like grass-fed tallow and shea butter can easily become grainy or hard when melted and cooled improperly. We map out a strict temperature curve, keeping our whipping process consistently below 45°C. This rapid, cold-conditioning prevents the fats from forming large, gritty crystal clusters.
Micro-Dispersion Engineering: Our active ingredients are milled into microscopic particles before blending. Using high-shear mechanical processing, we evenly disperse these micro-particles throughout our rich lipid matrix of Squalane, Olive Oil, and grass-fed Tallow. This ensures a flawless, cloud-like texture that is completely uniform and smooth to the touch.
Skin-Activated Actives: Because our formula is waterless, water-soluble nutrients remain perfectly suspended and stable inside the jar. The moment you massage the cream into your face, it interacts with the ambient moisture naturally present on your skin barrier. Vitamin E acts as a powerful, natural antioxidant shield, protecting the delicate fatty acids in our tallow, olive oil, and shea butter from oxidation.

A: Glow Ritual is created and owned on the Sunshine Coast, Australia. Our tallow is sourced from pasture-raised, grass-fed New Zealand cattle. It is then whipped together with 4% niacinamide, squalane, shea butter, olive oil and vitamin E in a specialist biotech lab in China, using the temperature-controlled process described above.
